KB

Last week my friend KB was apart of a art show hosted by GRN APPLETREE, I couldn't make it but here is a photo of KB and his artwork. KB also designs for several brands you like to wear, and is a very cool guy.

ps: It's the colorful one.

It turns out the idea for the iPod came from Kane Kramer who at the age of 23 in 1979 came up with this design for a digital music player. The chip could only play 3.5 minutes of music. Kane could not raise the money to produce his digital music player and he allowed the patent to expire in 1998. The rest is history!

Jessica Gomes

So I'm at work and about 10mins ago this girl walks into the store, my co-worker Jay Serbe (remember the name) says " yo that birds hot" I say "yeah aight" in a very sarcastic tone. Upon further inspection I realize he was 100% correct, her body was banging, she then makes her exit. Then this asian dude walks in with this very excited look on his face and says " Did you see that girl that just walked out of here?", and I say "boy did I!" his next comment revealed that the lady with the "Bangin" body was indeed.....

One of my favorite designers!

Balancing a nostalgic historical sense with radical modernism, Kris Van Assche has created a distinctive, refined world of nonchalant elegance.

Van Assche's work is characterized by attention to detail, a strong feel for ritual and the exacting depiction of a chic that evokes "days gone by". His designs arise from a sophisticated approach that breaks away from the uniformization of sportswear.

Kris Van Assche was born in Belgium in 1976. Shortly after graduating from the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, he moved to Paris in 1998. After working with Hedi Slimane at Yves Saint Laurent and then for Dior Homme, he began to show his original creations in January 2005. Today he heads his own label, KRIS VAN ASSCHE, and artistic director for Dior Homme since april 2007.

Impelled by a vision of the man who takes the time to "dress up", Kris Van Assche has embarked on an esthetic quest, pursuing a new masculinity infused with poetry and authenticity.

Happy Birthday!
